Yet, he felt it was his duty to treat me like an idiot because I didn't have a bond with my new name on it.
Everyone was nice and helpful and efficient!
Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly and made the event very memorable. Probate Department.
:)never until now have i dealt with a governmental agency of any type (and i work for the city of oakland, ps) that functions with efficiency, friendliness, and helpfulness. Please note: Acknowledgements executed by Notaries Public outside of USA are not accepted.
Despite a bustling crowd with people waiting in the row of chairs outside the office, a couple in full wedding attire at the counter, another couple no doubt waiting for their turn to be wed and a full staff behind the counter, my experience here was solid and efficient. Probate Department 400 McAllister St., Room 202 San Francisco, CA 94102 (415) 551-3650 Probate Investigation Unit, (415) 551-3657 I had an appointment at 8:15am, and I went in and was immediate taken care of .
I am sorry this is the first and probably my only time that I get married. Sorry my wife forgot to book the ceremony. Sorry my wife forgot to book the ceremony. like one just answers the phone there as if it's the most normal thing in the world. San Francisco County Public Records are any documents that are available for public inspection and retrieval in San Francisco County, CA.
One of the Asian lady county clerk spoke so fast, I have no idea what she was saying. Generally seems like much more of the process could be automated -- you literally set up an appointment to wait in line, to get an application form to fill out and then wait in line again to get a number, such as creation of marriage registration form with information which could easily have been entered online prior to visit. I was expecting the services to be awful, like DMV but I was so wrong.
Mayor Breed is the first African-American woman Mayor in San Francisco’s history. We'd printed instructions, read signs and whatnot, and pretty much expected people to be functional but not friendly. I was bonded once and made the mistake of assuming this name change process was just a process of notifying the state.
So I think my ignorance is undertandable. I can't remember if they take card, but I believe I saw a card reader.
wowzers! I realize he does this everyday, so the procedure is obvious to him. you can even call the phone number they have listed online and speak to a real live person immediately.
Sandra Lee Fewer. Easiest most awesome marriage ceremony ever, and I'd know because I was a wedding planner.
Supervisor, (415) 551-5795.

Shame on me for overlooking the fact that the bond should be in my new name, but shame on him for being a comple jack a** during the process.
City Hall is a nice place, and I so happen to come when everyone was getting married, felt like I was in the middle of a romantic comedy movie.I've just got to hand it to them, probably about the most efficient government agency that I've ever had to deal with.I got married last June via the county clerk's office, and it was a great experience. The office itself is pretty hard to find, but the guards were nice enough to point me in the right direction.
London Nicole Breed is the 45th mayor of the City and County of San Francisco. President of the Board, Supervisor. I was so wrong.
Apparantly I needed my company to issue me another bond with my new name on it.
I was trying to get my freaking marriage certificate and a ceremony. I followed the directions given to me by the state as well as the information given in my company's policy book.
What a delightful surprise!I came here on a Wednesday afternoon, literally 3 minutes before they closed to get a notarized document certified. Catherine Stefani.
Absolutely one of the worse process and experience. I went in early this morning to submit a name change for my notary commission.
