SOUTH HAVEN, MI — Safety flags are being placed at city beaches for the summer months beginning Friday, May 15, South Haven Area Emergency Services said.South Haven Area Emergency Services (SHAES) places flags of different colors on the beaches to correspond with the conditions of Lake Michigan, as determined by the National Weather Service.
