Today I tried the ube donut and really liked it - so fresh and fluffy, with just the right amount of purply, sugary lovely. This bakery is absolutely amazing! We are located inside The Block DC Food Hall. If you want a box of out of this world goodies, you need to pre-order right at 5:00pm on a Sunday a weekend before pick up! They opened just before COVID-19 hit and I'm glad they have adapted. Customers started being let in a little before 11, ended up being 10th or so in line despite getting there a half hour early. The croissant was oily and not the flakey beauty you look for in a croissant.
Pick up only, and preorder only. Waiting for a week to taste the pretty looking desserts add to the excitement! The donuts are also incredible, especially the passion fruit curd and apple with Saigon cinnamon.

"Once upon a time, I used to be a Keurig fan. I'm strung out. We also got mint tea, which paired nicely with our desserts. Right before we parked, he casually suggested the bakery should be named Rose Ave. Out of the hundreds of suggestive names, it only took me a second to say, “I actually really love that name!”I was named after a woman who helped my parents get establish when they came to the states during the Vietnam War as penniless refugees. I was having a conversation one time and all of a sudden the person I was having a conversation with just left the restaurant.
