It was easy to find the Park and the trails were pretty easy to navigate. The lookout makes an interesting stopping point. Visitors can fish in a pair of quiet ponds for bass and panfish or in the Eno River, either from the bank or by wading its shallows. I highly recommend going in the morning before it gets hot in the summer and there are too many people out and about! The trail is well maintained.

The park is located in Hillsborough so it's also fun to do a short hike here then hop over to downtown hillsborough for lunch!Nice place to come for a very short hike to the top of the "mountain" (more like a large hill) that overlooks Hillsborough.We loved this hike with our three kids ages 6, 3 & 1.

2 Trails. I love this place There is one overlook that my friends and I stopped by and absolutely loved. The first annual State Patty’s Day was a great success with people coming out to participate in a Scavenger Hunt followed by a fun-filled hike night. It is a great hike for adults and dogs but you may want to reconsider taking children under the age of 8.
