Valiant Comics is well-known in the comic book community as being the publisher of the third-largest connected comic universe following Marvel and DC. As part of the acquisition, it was announced that Valiant's CEO Dinesh Shamdasani would be leaving the company along with chairman Peter Cuneo and CFO Gavin Cueno, with Dinesh and Gavin serving as consultants, while Valiant's publishing team, overseen by publisher Fred Pierce and editor-in-chief Warren Simons, would remain.On June 7, 2018, Valiant announced they would launch four new titles under the "Valiant Beyond" banner, with On July 5, 2018, Valiant announced that comics retailer Matthew Klein had joined the company as its Sales Director after previously working at the company as a Sales Manager.On October 24, 2018, Valiant announced it had hired former intern Oliver Taylor as International Licensing Coordinator.On December 12, 2018, Valiant announced its "Breakthrough" lineup of first issues launching in 2019. In the tarnished crown of early 90s comics, Valiant was the jewel that sparkled with the beacon of promise that comics could still be great.
So, Ain't it Cool News accepts articles like these? They must have low standards. But the writing and artwork very quickly goes downhill and, for some ridiculous reason, the team is eventually replaced with a bunch of boring, ordinary people with special robot suits, which makes the comic totally redundant considering Valiant already has XO Manowar AND Armorines. The Valiant Universe is a shared superhero universe originally created by Jim Shooter's Valiant Comics in 1991.
