LOVE THIS MOVIE,EXCITING ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT,WANTING MORE.GREAT PRICE!! これパッケージにも“限界なしの拷問サバイバル・スリラー”って売り方になっていて、そういうトンデモ映画を深夜に酔っ払った頭でいけいけで楽しもう！と見始めるといきなり姿勢を正されてしまって、がっかりした人が怒り出しそうなそんなシリアスめな映画。悪人は勿論出てきますけど、悪人も信念をもった普通の人間ですから、訳のわからない怖さってのもないですし。評判がいまひとつなのは、宣伝の仕方のせいのような気がします。折角面白いのに何か勿体無い。ヒロインのお姉ちゃんとか役者のセンスもいいし、音楽のセンスも無茶苦茶いい、どこまでも広大で美しい昼間の景色と一気に危ない空気になる夜の風景の対比もいい。一箇所おもいっきりスプラッターなシーンがあるにはありますが、これも資本主義が人の命すら食い荒らすという強いメッセージを発信するためで、実に志が深い。本当にかっちり撮ってある映画で、思わずこのハードな話に引き込まれてしまいました。ただ、終盤のそのサバイバルスリラー部分が思いの外盛り上がらなかったのは残念。特にラストの水中での戦いなんかは、編集がまずくて敵と味方の位置がわかりづらいので、ハラハラできませんでした。またこれきっと社会派サスペンスとして撮ってるとは思うのですが、このくだりを入れたらテーマが明確になるのにというようなシーンが未公開削除シーンの方に特典で入っていたりして、ちょっと本当にこの編集がよくわからなかったですねぇ。 Comparison between the R-Rated version, provided by the German DVD from Universum , and the Unrated version, represented by the US-DVD from 20th Century Fox..
