Laurel County Sheriff deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred in the KY Hollow area of northern Laurel County Friday night. The sheriff says the pickup truck driver was not injured. The driver of the SUV allegedly got out of his vehicle and a confrontation between the two drivers resulted in shots being fired from the driver of the pickup truck, leaving the SUV’s driver seriously injured from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the sheriff’s department.The sheriff says the victim, 40-year-old Jack Davis, was taken to Baptist Healthcare Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
