just absolutely scrumptious. Near Yokohama station stands Yoshimura-ya Ramen house, whose owner,Mr.Yoshimura, is the founder of E.A.K.Ramen of Yokohama. The basement is a recreation of old Japan with fabulous ramen resturants and a bar. You have great service and good food, but please...It genuinely pains me to write this review because this has been my favorite ramen spots in the Bay Area for years and I've always thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.. The different ramen stalls underneath the building are cool, I wasn't impressed with the ramen BTW. You can't sample much that way. The museum section was educational (I.e., it's basically Chinese noodles up until 1955-ish, which I never knew). The pork here is heavenly and melts in your mouth, I always ask for extra pork.
